Melissa Renza, Esq

Melissa Renza was born in Chicago, Illinois. She and her family moved to Florida where she graduated from Royal Palm Beach High School before she attended Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Renza earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. While attending Florida Atlantic University, Ms. Renza was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi.

After working as a legal assistant for a few years, Ms. Renza went to Savannah Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate Degree. She is barred in Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin. Additionally, Ms. Renza is licensed to practice in the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and Florida’s 4th District Court of Appeals.

Ms. Renza has focused her practice on personal injury and has worked on cases including tractor-trailer accidents, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, slip and fall, dog bite, premise liability, motor vehicle accidents, and negligent security. She has received recognition from the American Academy of Attorneys as a Top 100 Attorney in Personal Injury Law in 2019 and from Lawyers of Distinction for Excellence in the Practice of Law in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Ms. Renza is a member of American Association for Justice, Southern Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Martin County Bar Association, Martin County Women Lawyers, and Inns of Court. Additionally, she is an active member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, where she serves as her Lodge’s Presiding Justice.

When she is not working, Ms. Renza enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their dogs.
