20-year-old woman killed in car crash near I-75 in Pasco County

SAN ANTONIO, FL – A driver was killed when she lost control of her car and crashed in Pasco County Monday, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver was a 20-year-old woman who was making a left turn on westbound Blanton Road in the area of Interstate 75 near San Antonio at about 12:43 p.m. Troopers said she was unable to maintain control of the car while negotiating a curve. The vehicle went over the center line, struck the shoulder of the roadway and flipped, ending up on its side.

The driver, an Orlando resident, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
