Bicyclist dies after collision with garbage truck

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – A bicyclist died at the hospital Saturday after colliding with a garbage truck Friday afternoon.

According to The Suncoast News, the incident happened on westbound Ridge Road in the turning lane for southbound Little Road on Friday afternoon.

The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. He passed away the following day.
