SARASOTA, FL – A collision involving two vehicles in Sarasota County left one of the drivers critically injured, according to WWSB.
The accident happened Monday morning in the area of Clark Road and Lorraine Road. The Florida Highway Patrol said a woman driving a Honda SUV entered the intersection at about 7:30 a.m. and crashed into a dump truck heading west on Clark Road.
The SUV overturned from the impact of the crash, coming to rest on the side of the road. The Honda driver, a 46-year-old Sarasota resident, was critically injured. The dump truck driver sustained minor injuries.
