BRADENTON, FL – A driver has been arrested in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in Bradenton last week, WWSB reports.

 

21-year-old Tyshalia Renae Miller of Bradenton is facing several charges, including careless or negligent operation of a motor vehicle causing the death of or serious bodily injury.

 

The accident happened Thursday night as Miller was driving a sedan in the 4000 block of Ninth Street East. The Florida Highway Patrol said Miller was making a turn into a private driveway when she turned into the path of a motorcycle headed north on Ninth Street East.

 

The motorcycle, driven by a 30-year-old man from Bradenton, overturned and then struck the side of Miller’s car. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

Miller was taken into custody following the accident. The FHP is continuing its investigation.
