SEFFNER, FL – A man died after he collided with the back of a semi-truck on I-4 Monday, according to Tampa Bay Times.

According to Highway Patrol troopers, the 28-year-old driver was speeding and was attempted to change lanes when he struck the semi-truck. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was ejected from the vehicle.

First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 4:30 a.m. They transported the victim to an area hospital where they died.

The 48-year-old truck driver was unharmed in the collision.
