WESTCHASE, FL – A driver slammed into a pole at Oaksbury Dr and Countryway Blvd Wednesday, according to WFLA.
The driver knocked over the pole and plowed into concrete pillars before being spun around. A part of a metal fence impaled the passenger side window.
First responders were called to the crash site around 10:30 a.m. They cut the driver free from their vehicle and transported them to an area hospital.
Authorities have not released the name of the driver.
