PLANT CITY, FL – Authorities are trying to locate the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Hillsborough County last week.
WFLA reports the victim of the incident was a man who was found dead on West Trapnell Road near Trapnell Elementary School in Plant City early Friday morning. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck was seen heading east on West Trapnell Road at about 12:22 a.m.
The sheriff’s office says it is now looking for that pickup truck, which was described as having a silver cab and a white truck bed with orange running lights above the windshield. Investigators believe the vehicle is damaged on the front passenger area.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
