Driver plows into the back of a disabled car, injures 1 person near Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL – A driver sufferred minor injuries after a pickup truck plowed into the back of his car on US 31 north of Chancey Rd Monday night, according to Tampa Bay Times.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was parked in a disabled car on the shoulder when he was struck in the back of his car by a pickup truck driven by a 28-year-old man.

The impact pushed the car further into the shoulder, where it then caught on fire. The collision also caused the pickup truck to overturn.
