OLDSMAR, FL – Oldsmar Vice Mayor Linda Norris caused a three-car pile up in Hillsborough County on Wednesday morning. Police believe she was intoxicated at the time.

According to Tampa Bay Times, near W Hillsborough Avenue near Race Track Road at 10:30 a.m., when Norris rear-ended the vehicle in front of hers. That collision pushed the vehicle into the one in front of it.

Police arrived on the scene and noticed almost immediately that Norris’ showed signs of impairment. They also found alcohol in her vehicle and purse.

Norris failed a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer exam. Police arrested her and cited her for refusal to submit to testing and DUI third conviction

No injuries were reported.
