ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a man riding an electric scooter on 34th St Sunday, WTSP reports.

The driver of a light blue Toyota Avalon struck Anthony Reynolds as he was riding the electric scooter north on 34th St at around 2:53 a.m. It is unclear if Reynolds died at the scene of the accident or at an area hospital.

Police say the Avalon has damage to the bumper, hood, and windshield on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the collision to contact them.
