JASMINE ESTATES, FL – Police are still looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a motorcyclist at Fox Hollow Dr and Palm Ave on October 3, WFLA reports.

The suspect was driving a faded red pickup truck when they pulled out in front of Bob Winters. The collision sent Winters and the motorcycle underneath the truck. The driver then backed up over the bike and then fled the scene.

Winters suffered a head injury and was bleeding profusely at the scene. Troopers with Florida Highway Patrol attempted to locate the suspect but to no avail.

Winters was taken to a hospital. He now has stitches and staples in his head and knee. He is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
