News: Motorcyclist dies after crashing into SUV on U.S. 41 in Ruskin

RUSKIN, FL – State troopers say a motorcycle rider died after crashing into a sport utility vehicle in Ruskin on Friday morning.

 

The Tampa Bay Times reports the victim was a 19-year-old Ruskin man who was riding at a high rate of speed while heading north n U.S. 41. The accident happened at about 7:15 a.m.., when he collided with an SUV that was heading across the highway after stopping at Second Avenue SE. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The SUV was driven by a 32-year-old woman from Ruskin who was not hurt in the crash.
