Motorist dies after head-on collision in Hernando County

BROOKSVILLE, FL – A man was killed Sunday afternoon when an SUV crossed the center line on Corporate Boulevard and crashed head-on into his pickup truck.

According to local reporting , the fatal crash happened near Aerial Way at around 2:01 p.m.

The 30-year-old victim died at the scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. The 51-year-old female driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
