Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after being struck on E Bay Dr

LARGO, FL – According to Yahoo News, a man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle on the 100 block of eastbound E Bay Dr on Wednesday.

Investigators believe the victim was at a bus stop when he stood up, walked into traffic, and was hit by a truck.

Dispatchers sent paramedics to the crash site around 5:20 p.m. They took the man to an area hospital in critical condition. His name and current state are unclear.

The incident is currently under investigation by police.
