TAMPA, FL – Police in Tampa tweeted that they were responding to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Busch Boulevard Friday afternoon.
The accident, reported at about 2:30 p.m., happened near Interstate 275. Busch Boulevard was shut down in both directions between Florida Avenue and I-275. The southbound exit from I-275 to Busch Boulevard was also closed, and significant traffic delays were reported. No information was immediately released regarding injuries.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while officers investigated the wreck.
