ELFERS, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol says it has located the vehicle believed to have been involved in a fatal pedestrian accident in Pasco County, reports WTSP.

This is an update to a previous story.

The incident happened on Christmas Day, when a 22-year-old man was fatally struck while walking in the area of U.S. 19 and Manor Drive.

The FHP said the vehicle involved was an Audi A6 that left the scene after the crash. It was located Wednesday in a parking lot on Barker Drive at Grey Street.

State troopers have also identified a person of interest in the case: 28-year-old Moran Derraill Brown Jr.  Brown is reported to have several active warrants for arrest.
