DOVER, FL – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 left drivers facing rush hour backups on Friday afternoon, according to Fox 13.

The Florida Highway Patrol tweeted that the accident shut down eastbound I-4 at mile marker 14, the exit for McIntosh Road.

Emergency vehicles were on the scene removing crash debris and traffic was delayed in both directions. Eastbound traffic was slowed back to the area of the I-75 interchange. No details were immediately released on any injuries stemming from the wreck.

The scene was cleared and all lanes of I-4 were back open by about 4:40 p.m.
