ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A single-vehicle crash blocked all southbound traffic lanes of I-275 on Tuesday morning.

Fox 13 Traffic initially Tweeted that the accident occurred at Ulmerton Road around 7:38 a.m. At 8:04 a.m., they shared a photo on Twitter that showed the crash involved only one vehicle, which was currently being towed away.

During the road closure all southbound traffic was forced to use the right shoulder. The wreck was cleared by 8:07 p.m.

It is unclear what caused the crash or if any injuries were sustained.

A single-vehicle crash does not always mean the driver is responsible. If something like faulty equipment or unsafe road design is to blame, then you may be entitled to financial compensation for your injury-related expenses.
