INDIAN SHORES, FL – The bicyclist who was struck by a driver on Park Blvd Bridge has died, according to WTSP.

On October 13th, Sherry Nowotarski, 60, was riding her bicycle westbound on Park Blvd Bridge when she fell onto the curb lane.

A Dodge Dart who was also in the westbound lane attempted to avoid colliding with Nowotarski, but failed.

First responders were dispatched to the crash site at 6:07 a.m. They transported Nowotarski to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on October 15th.

Authorities do not believe impairment or speed played a role in the collision.
