PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A woman was transported to an area hospital with severe injuries after her SUV struck a dump truck at SR 56 and Meadow Pointe Blvd Thursday, according to Tampa Free Press.
The 40-year-old woman was driving westbound SR 56 and was about to turn onto Meadow Pointe Blvd when she pulled out in front of the dump truck. The front side of her SUV collided with the left side of the dump truck.
The impact caused the SUV to rotate. It came to a rest in the westbound lane of SR 56 before catching on fire.
First responders hospitalized the victim. Her current condition is unclear.
