TAMPA, FL – A driver died after his car went off a ramp on the Selmon Expwy Wednesday, according to Bay News 9.

The 30-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Sonic was heading the wrong way on the Selmon Expwy when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete wall. The Sonic flipped over the wall and landed at the intersection of Brorein St and Franklin St.

First responders were called to the wreck around 2 a.m. They pronounced the driver dead at the scene. Officials have not released the name of the victim.
