Matthew Jones, Esq

Matthew Jones was born and raised in coastal Georgia. From a young age, Mr. Jones showed great interest in the legal profession and endeavored to work for a local law firm. After beginning high school, he began working as a file clerk and runner for a firm engaged in general civil practice and began his journey in law.

Mr. Jones completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where he majored in history and political science. Mr. Jones then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Jones clerked for multiple law firms and continued his quest to learn under experienced litigators. Mr. Jones went on to graduate with honors and was offered a full time position as an attorney with a firm specializing in insurance defense practice.

Prior to joining Kemp Law Group, Mr. Jones also practiced at a successful Georgia personal injury firm where he used his extensive insurance defense experience to help achieve outstanding results for numerous clients. Mr. Jones takes great pride in relating to his clients and truly understanding their concerns and needs. His years of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants aid him in being a strong advocate for clients of the firm.
