PALM HARBOR, FL – Three people were hospitalized following a crash that caused chemicals to leak in Palm Harbor on Friday afternoon, WTSP reported.

First responders were dispatched to the scene in the area of US-19 and Innisbrook Drive at about 4:30 p.m. No details were available on the conditions of the people were injured.

The crash caused a truck carrying chlorine to spill pool chemicals on the roadway. The southbound lanes of US-19 were shut down in the area while firefighters cleaned up the spill.
