LEALMAN, FL – Police have released details on a crash in Pinellas County last week that killed an elderly driver. According to the Tampa Bay Reporter , the accident happened Tuesday afternoon on 49th Street N in Lealman shortly before 2:40 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a driver was pulling out of the driveway of Life Storage and entered the path of a vehicle driven by a 91-year-old man. That man, a St. Petersburg resident, was taken to an area hospital where he passed away on Friday.
The other driver, age 82, and a 63-year-old passenger were seriously injured.
