ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A 56-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries following a crash that occurred on 49th Street S and 20th Avenue S.
According to an article from the Tampa Bay Reporter, the unidentified motorcyclist was traveling north on 49th St S while 37-year-old Lashawna Rene Young was traveling south on the same road. Young turned left onto 20th Ave S in front of the motorcyclist, causing the crash. Young’s Mazda skidded into a Mitsubishi that was stopped at a stop sign.
Police discovered that Young does not have a driver’s license. They are still investigating.
