CLEARWATER, FL – On Wednesday morning, crews recovered the body of the worker killed in a stairwell collapse Monday, WESH reports
The collapse took place in a garage located near the Tampa Bay Water facility located at 2575 Enterprise Rd. Due to the structure’s instability, crews were not put inside the building. They instead dismantled the stairwell from the top down with the aid of an excavator.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the collapse.
