PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A suspected drunk driver is facing multiple charges in connection with a fatal crash in Pinellas County.
ABC Action News reports 24-year-old Sharquira Agosto of Temple Terrace was arrested on New Year’s Day. The accident happened December 24 in the area of Belleair Road and South Lake Avenue.
Police said Agosto was driving west on Belleair Road when she crossed over the line and collided nearly head-on with a car driven by a 47-year-old man.
The man, a Clearwater resident, was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The charges against Agosto include DUI, manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
